In Command
We watched the American's tonight in the 4x100 medley. I am so ticked with the cameraman as we watched the medal ceremony. WHY do we need to be so focused on Mr Phelps when it was a team effort? Again - why do we have to focus solely on the athlete on these occasions?
That being said, the race was great! I love to watch Mr Phelps race. So confident.
I also watched the Women's 100m Quarterfinals and Marathon. Wow. Gets my adrenaline going.
I think this is the most Olympics I have watched in a few years.

I don't know how I feel about this...
So the new thing in our house is to go to this website - Yearbook Yourself - and laughing lots.
Take a gander at some of the headshots of D. If you know his grandpas, this is a bit scary.
And then there is the picture of me that looks so much like my Dad - I was amazed.
I don't look so bad as a guy. I don't know how I feel about that.

My Big Boy
Well. I have a big boy.
He had his '6 mo' appointment today.
B was always around 20th percentile except for her head size.
D is 95th percentile for everything except for his head size.
Both kids are around the 75th percentile for their head.
That is a nice compromise between my head and MD's.
The other component of my kids is that they aren't 'average'.
D is wearing 9-12 mo clothes. But the big thing is that he is going to be too big for his car seat in 3 ounces. So when we feed him a bottle - he is too big until he pees. HA!
And how about that study that overweight people aren't necessarily unhealthy! Love it! Hopefully we get more information about this soon.
Now go run 3 miles and have a dilly bar.

Update to last nights post
Yeah - I got too excited last night with D's early bed time. He was up at midnight just as I turned out the light and didn't get back to sleep for 2 hours. Ugh.
Today is his 6 month appt. Yeah - we are a little behind the curve. So he gets shots today. I don't like it when the kids get shots.
I wish I was home today. What a gloomy day.
