Birth Day

My Birthday is rockin' so far.
Driver's license renewed - check!
Car washed - check!
Tall hot Chai with Blueberry muffin - check!
Clean part of the house - check!

So that is the update of my day.
I think I may work in a haircut and I would love to see a movie but they all seem lame.

Today as I sat in a local coffee shop, I pulled out my phone to call my sister and the woman sitting with her book and bible glared at me. Was I breaking coffee shop etiquette by talking on my phone? I moved either way. Then I saw her at the book shop next door and I smiled at her. Kill 'em with kindness right?

I hope you are wearing your green today and not only on your underwear. I remember my classmates would tell me that. whatever! That sounds like TMI but hey - you thought of it too.

It's time to get back to having a good day.

Someone {She shall remain nameless - Ya ya} said to me today that I have been pretty D heavy on the blog lately. I agree - but B had 3.5 years of sole attention so I have to give the boy some time too... and he is cute...

I am in a rut. It seems that change is the norm in my life. I know it is necessary but I like change to be change and routine to be routine - ya know? It is mostly just one aspect in my life and while it isn't all happening to me directly, it is shaking up my routine! I want to blame it on Spring but we are still officially 3 days away so does that count?

I am ready for Spring. I am ready to get outside and rake some leaves or move some plants. Something. It was 66 degrees today so hopefully it won't be mind-numbingly cold until winter comes around again.

Polly Pocket litter

I am not a role playing type of gal. I was the older sister whose
barbie's name was 'Diane the Lawyer' and I was always dressing her and
doing her hair but she either didn't go anywhere or else she was
always gone. I prefer the latter.
So now that B is interested in Polly Pockets, I have to 'play' all
over again. Thank GOD the clothes go on and off SO much easier.
I think I may need to start calling my sister to set up a playdate so
B can get her Polly Pocket fix without me.
